Perinatal
Conception, pregnancy, and childbirth are inherently tremendous events in a person’s life. Bringing a child into the world may spark a variety of emotions, from joy to fear. Up to 85% of child bearers experience mood disturbances and nearly 50% go undiagnosed. 1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 men experience postpartum depression. Regarding anxiety and OCD, up to 20% of parents struggle with these conditions during and after pregnancy.
We endeavor to provide a safe space to process emotions, develop coping mechanisms, address distressing thoughts, symptoms of childbirth-related trauma or loss, and offer support to those impacted by infertility, perinatal, and postpartum concerns.
